Lakehead Festival of Music and the Arts

Congratulations to the fantastic performances of all students who played in the festival in March. You were awesome!!

CHOIR

New singers are always welcome to join. See you there!

-Valley Central's choir, The Cougarettes, practices each Thursday!

-Crestview School practices each Tuesday at 1st Nutrition Break.

-Kakabeka School's choir is open to students in gr. 4-8. Practices are in the music room on Wednesday from 3-4 PM.

Singing may assist in the maintenance and improvement of oral motor skills and pulmonary functioning. Singing provides opportunities to improve breath-control, rate of speech, articulation and pronunciation skills.
